Elgin Crescent

Moving around this sloping, overgrown garden was difficult. Three routes converged at different levels upon the tiny space. There was nowhere to sit comfortably. In winter the lawn was a slippery mess.

Now steps and terraces of York stone and London stock brick provide easy all-weather access whilst doubling as places to sit.

The design appears to widen the garden and leads the eye to the view beyond the gate.
