Though wide at the house, this garden narrows drastically and awkwardly towards the top. The design employs arcs and circles to lead the eye around the space and some terracing to counteract the slope.

Across the back of the house a curved brick path, bordered by exuberant herb planting, invites exploration. Now the building sits more comfortably in its garden.
